Okay so I want to revert back to ICS, the issue I have is that I can’t get this original stock ROM onto my SD card. The problem is that when i plug the USB into my computer, the computer isn’t detecting it as Mass Storage. It used to give me the option on ICS to charge or mount.

    Any ideas?

    • Danny

Managed to actually get it onto SD card, the “Europe Lite Version ROM”, followed all instructions and now it’s stuck on HTC One logo…

      • Do this:

        1. Switch off the phone completely
        2. Press and hold “Volume down + Power Button” for few seconds. Select Recovery from there.
        3. Now you will be into Stock Recovery mode seeing some “4 – 5 options”. You can use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select.
        4. Now, navigate to “factory data reset” and click ok.
        5. Now, select Wipe Cache Partition and click “OK”
        6. Reboot you device.
        And you are done

        • Danny

There seems to be a problem with that ROM, I have successfully done the same with other ROM’s no problems, but not the Europe without bloatware. I am now using another ROM called SHPONGLE

          • Means now you are not running Stock ROM, right?

  • Danny

Indeed, I only wanted to revert back to stock because there was too many bugs, this one seems pretty stable so far.

    • No problem. If further any help want do comment 😀

  • Meg

I’m kinda new to this so please don’t be surprised if my question is stupid but, I’ve tried each one of the zip files, could it be that none of them are compatible with my cellphone, My cellphone is aborting the installation process every single time, I live in Canada by the way.

    • Not possible man, all are working and you have follow the steps carefully or not?

      • Meg

YES!!! It finally worked… Thank you buddy, I almost gave up hope on that… The problem was that I was misled by a previous comment made here saying that the files are compressed in a RAR format instead of a ZIP format, so I instantly extracted the files and compressed them into ZIP format without actually checking the file extensions (I can be a little brainless sometimes).
Now the problem is, for some reason, after installing the new ZIP I couldn’t turn on the Wifi, I haven’t tried the bluetooth but both of their addressees appear as “unavailable” on the hardware information menu, however when I switched back to my old ROM (good thing I backed it up) they both to be perfectly fine, is there a way to fix that?

  • Manish
