From the day, when I have posted the articles on Custom ROM for HTC One V, users are telling me to find the Stock ROM for HTC One V because after installing the Custom ROMs they found that there are some irritating bugs which they can’t afford it. Finally, today I found the Stock ROM for HTC One V on XDA Developers Forum. The ROM is absolutely Original but it’s rooted. It means, you don’t have to root your device again after installing this HTC One V Official ROM. So, are you ready to flush out your installed Custom ROM? Then go on reading the post.
In this article, I will surely guide you through the complete process on how to install the PrimoU Original Stock ROM for HTC One V, before that you have to read the perquisite, disclaimer and other important notes.

Requirements to install Stock ROM for HTC One V:
1. Make sure your mobile should possess 70 to 80% battery
2. Enable USB debugging mode (Menu (app drawer) > Settings > Manage Applications > Development > USB Debugging – check box)
3. Ensure that you have backed up your all important data.
4. Your phone Bootloader must be unlocked. If not then unlock from HTCdev site.
5. Your phone must be rooted and TWRP/CWM installed on it.
Guide on How to install Stock ROM for HTC One V:
Step 1: Download Stock ROM for HTC One V according to your region from below links.
For Europe Region:
For Asia Region:
For ARA Region:
For WWE Region:
- Full Version ROM (Extra Root Files Added).
For India Region:
- Lite Version Stock ROM for HTC One V (Some Bloatware Removed)
Note: If you are an Indian user then after downloading Stock ROM for HTC One V directly jump to “Step 7“.
Step 2: Once you download the ROM, place the downloaded file into an external SD card.
Step 3: Now, Switch off your phone and enter into bootloader mode by pressing & holding “Volume down + Power Button“ together and from there select “recovery” to boot into “CWM Recovery Mode or TWRP Recovery Mode“. (Note: Here I am using CWM Recovery Mode)
Step 4: Now, you have to perform data wiping task. To do so,
- Select “wipe data/factory reset“, then select “Yes” for confirmation and wait till the data wipe is complete.
- Again go to the CWM recovery main menu. Select “wipe cache partition” and after that, select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” under advance option to perform Dalvik cache wiping.
Step 5: Come back to the CWM recovery main menu. From there, select “Install zip from sdcard” and go to the path where you have placed “Stock ROM for HTC One V“. As you select the installation will start and it will take 3-5 minutes to complete so don’t hesitate let the installation to be completed.
Step 6: Finally, when the installation process is completed select “++++Go Back++++” and then choose “reboot system” to reboot your phone. The phone will take 10-15 minutes to start and initialize all the services & apps because this is the first time you are starting your device after installing Stock ROM.
Note: Below steps are strictly for Indian users only! The phone must have “TWRP Recovery” installed, if not then follow this official link.
Step 7: After downloading Stock ROM for HTC One V file, extract the file on the desktop.
Step 8: Place the extracted folder into “TWRP/Backups/HTC (somenumber)“, if there is no folder like that just drop it in “TWRP/Backups“.
Step 9: Now, Switch off your phone and enter into bootloader mode by pressing & holding “Volume down + Power Button“ together and from there select “recovery” to boot into “TWRP Recovery Mode“.
Step 10: In Recovery mode, tap on “Restore“. Wait for the process to complete.
Congratulations! Now, your device is running on Android 4.0.3 ICS firmware.
