    Hey, great site and guide, just a noob question, just got my first android phone, the htc one, I want to start messing around with it, Step 1 of your guide you say to download the Ordroid into an external sd card, u mean from the computer? Because the htc one does not have an external sd card.

    After I install the custom rom, can I recover contacts, apps and settings to use with that rom or is my phone wiped out? thanks. Noob here trying to learn.

    • Bro you can make backup of your apps and settings via application and then you can restore it. And if you install this ROM then your phone memory will be completely formatted 😀

  • it does not starts after rebotting my decive fed up what to do plz someone help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Do this:

      1. Switch off the phone completely
      2. Press and hold “Volume down + Power Button” for few seconds. Select Recovery from there.
      3. Now you will be into Stock Recovery mode seeing some “4 – 5 options”. You can use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select.
      4. Now, navigate to “factory data reset” and click ok.
      5. Now, select Wipe Cache Partition and click “OK”
      6. Reboot you device.
      And you are done
