Samsung has finally released the Android Nougat Update for T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. While it has been keenly wished and hoped that the Nougat reaches the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge any time soon, but the South Korean company hasn’t been very supportive in this regard. Only the hand full of countries has received it. Even they are still unable to facilitate their customers in the US. But at least for the T-Mobile variants of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Nougat is now being sent out to the ones who were running the beta.
Official Nougat Update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
The final Android Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge weighs in at 117 MB and brings the latest 1st February 2017 security patch. New features in the upgrade include the following:
- Improvements to multi-Window
- Better notifications
- Some user interface tweaks and more.
The latest Android Nougats mainly focus on the small refinements which include many bug fixes and optimization along with the less number of enrichments for the consumers.
Unfortunately, currently, the updates are available to only those who participated in the Nougat Beta program. Moreover, Samsung has not given any clue as to when the remaining Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on T-Mobile will get the Nougat update. Once the beta users get along well with the updates, then it can be intensely speculated that the Samsung and T-Mobile will be more likely to get onto their toes for the update services very shortly.
