- Google Pixel / Pixel XL battery must be charged up to 80% levels.

Steps to Unlock Google Pixel Bootloader and Google Pixel XL
Step 1: Get ready with the following things.
- Google Pixel / Pixel XL device
- USB Cable
- A Computer system with drivers is installed.
Step 2: Navigate to the folder where you have extracted “Fastboot and ADB Drivers“.
Step 3: From there, open the command prompt by pressing “Left Shift + Right Click” and choose “open command window here“.
Step 4: Now connect your device with your PC using original USB data cable and make sure, you authorize “USB Debugging Mode.“
Step 5: Once your device is successfully connected, reboot Google Pixel / Pixel XL to fastboot / bootloader mode by typing below command in the command prompt.
- adb reboot bootloader
Step 6: Your device will reboot and it will enter into bootloader mode automatically. Once you are there, type the following command in the command prompt to unlock Google Pixel bootloader.
- fastboot oem unlock
Step 7: It will take a couple of seconds to unlock Google Pixel XL bootloader and once it is completed, your device will rebooted. If not, you can reboot it forcefully by pressing and holding power key for few seconds.
